Jason Huff

Center Administrator
Jason Huff joined the JourneyLite team in May of 2011. He earned his Associate of Science in Nursing from Ivy Tech State College in 1997. In 2006, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana and is currently on pace to graduate in May 2012 with Masters of Science in Nursing Management and Leadership. Jason’s professional career consists of 15 years in sub-acute care and adult rehab. The last twelve years have been devoted exclusively to nursing leadership where he has served in multiple facets. Jason spent the last 8 years as a consultant and Director of Nursing for a large adult rehab center. Since 2004, he has taught in the nursing programs for both Ivy Tech Community College and the University of Southern Indiana. In his spare time, he enjoys breeding and exhibiting AKC champion Pugs. He recently received his judge’s license for Pugs from the American Kennel Club.

Janette Perry Janette Perry

Clinical Manager
Janette Perry, RN has a broad and varied nursing background, which includes a diversity of experience from critical care, and emergency room to teaching and research. She is a Michigan native whose Naval career travels include degrees from University of Cincinnati and graduate work from University of Phoenix. To meet her personal standards of excellence in patient care, she maintains an advance certification in critical care nursing as well as a master teaching certification and advance cardiac life instructing. “The best part about my job here at Journeylite is sharing the patient’s excitement when I walk them to their car after surgery, and knowing we have prepared them well for their lifestyle changes. Please come back to see us and share your success is my message to them!”

Kathy Smith Kathy Smith

Charge Nurse
Kathy Smith began her career at JourneyLite in May 2011. Kathy graduated from The Christ Hospital School of Nursing in 1989. She brings with her 22 years of critical care nursing experience and leadership skills. She has worked in the surgical intensive care unit, emergency room and perioperative areas. Kathy has a love for people and a love for nursing.

Kim Rahn Kim Rahn

Bariatric Coordinator
Kim Rahn, RN began her career at JourneyLite of Cincinnati in September of 2009. She graduated from University of North Carolina-Greensboro in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has worked nearly 20 years in the field of nursing, caring for patients in critical care, working in the cardiac cath lab, and as a charge nurse for medical/surgical telemetry unit and endoscopy outpatient center. This lifetime dedication to nursing has provided her with the skills and experience necessary to be the Bariatric Coordinator for our Cincinnati Center. Kim has a keen eye for detail and is passionate about caring for patients.

Lisa Sprong Lisa Sprong

Marketing Director
Lisa Sprong joined Journeylite in March 2008. She has 19 years of sales and marketing experience concentrating on new business development. In October of 2005 Lisa was LAP-BANDED. This life changing surgery has resulted in her losing 85 pounds. Her excitement from her positive experience with the LAP-BAND has drawn her to the surgical center industry. She is thrilled to be working at Journeylite to help others be successful with a lifetime of permanent weight loss. Lisa enjoys gardening, shopping and spending time with her family.

Mary Huff Marcy Huff

Patient Service Representative
Marcy Huff joined the Journeylite Surgical Weight Loss team in January, 2008. She brings with her over eight years of experience as a program coordinator where she developed and facilitated client -based programs and activities. Marcy had the LapBand® procedure in October of 2004 and currently maintains an 85 pound weight loss. Both her professional and personal experience provides her the knowledge to assist patients through their weight loss journey. As patient service representative she enjoys playing an intricate role in helping clients realize their dreams.
