Chef Dave's recipes are not only healthy, but are written to keep surgical weight loss patients compliant while not sacrificing taste. What makes a Chef Dave recipe different from other healthy recipes is that all food selections, techniques, and cooking temperatures are all put together to create quick, moist and tender meals.
Food selection is a critical first step when creating a recipe. Foods that are too fibrous, such as celery, broccoli stems, and asparagus can be tough. Lean cuts of meat can be to dry if cooked using the wrong cooking method. All recipes created by Chef Dave only use foods that when cooked or prepared fresh, maintain their moisture, tenderness, and flavor.
Understanding food preparation and techniques can often be confusing for most. Chef Dave removes these boundaries and provides detailed directions when preparing any of his recipes. Over 90% percent of recipes provided by Chef Dave can be ready to eat in 20 minutes or less, and yes this includes the prep time.
Cooking temperatures are critical to any recipe and if overcooked and even undercooked the recipe could be a disaster. All recipes have been created in Chef Dave's very own kitchen and cooking temperatures have been strictly monitored to make every meal perfect.
